Dear colleague, The MDT electronics preliminary design review will be held on Thursday February 22nd from 9:00 to 18:00 in - 160-1-009 for the morning session - 304-1-001A for the afternoon session The review committee will consist of: Jorgen Christiansen , CERN MIC Martin Felix Dentan , CERN/Saclay TC Philippe Farthouat , CERN TC Pierre Jarron , CERN MIC Peter Lichard , CERN TRT Stefano Veneziano , INFN Roma RPC This PDR will address the following points: (1) Front-end ASICs (ASD and TDC); (2) Front-end boards; (3) Read-out architecture (including the read-out driver); (4) Radiation tolerance; (5) Control. The scope of the PDR is to review: - the requirements and specifications; - the proposed architecture; - the prototypes performances; - the remaining developments; - the application of ATLAS rules such as the radiation hardness assurance, the grounding scheme,... - the schedule.
